Q: Where do I park?

A: Parking is readily available near and around the arena.

Q: Is there accessible parking and seating?

A: Accessible parking is available and will be clearly marked.

For deaf and hearing-impaired guests, interpreters are provided for each ceremony.

Q: Where is guest seating?

A: Guest seating will be on a first-come-first-serve basis in the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. Accessible seating will be available. RSVPs and tickets are not required for guests or students.

Q: How do I get to Alltech Arena?

A: Alltech Arena is located at 4089 Iron Works Pkwy, Lexington, KY 40511.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: All guests should arrive no later than 30 minutes from the start of the ceremony. Graduates are required to arrive 1 hour before the start of the ceremony. Guests are welcome to arrive with their graduate but only graduates are allowed in the South Hall (location of line-up).

Please allow yourself plenty of time for arrival taking into consideration rush hour traffic and construction. Also, there are speed bumps once you enter the Horse Park and horses have the right of way, both of which will slow your drive time.

Q: Will there be an opportunity to purchase flowers and graduation gifts?

A: Yes. The EKU Bookstore will have items available for purchase.

Q: Will there be a livestream of the ceremony?

A: Family members and friends who are unable to attend EKU’s Commencement or College Convocations may view the ceremony online.

Q: Will there be a photographer at the ceremony?

A: Professional photography will be provided. Candidates will be photographed walking across the stage. Proofs and information from the photographer will be sent to the student’s EKU email address approximately one week following the ceremony.
