Frequently Asked Questions: for Students for Parents

How do I gain access to my student's EKU Direct account information?

The student must complete and submit, to the Registrar’s office, the Web-4-Parent Authorization Form. The form must be signed by the student granting permission and returned either in person or via their EKU e-mail account to the Registrar’s Office.  The form will not be accepted if it is mailed, returned by another person, or is not signed by the student. Another person cannot sign the form.

Once the student has completed the form, they will have access to set up your account. You will be notified, by email, once your account has been created. The email will provide you with an activation link and an action password for you to create your account.

1. Click on the activation link provided in the email

2. You will be prompted to input the action password found in the activation email. Click Submit.

3. You will be prompted to create a new PIN. Fill in the spaces as indicated:

  • Email address- the one where you received the activation email.
  • Old PIN- action password.
  • New PIN- this is the PIN you will create. This must be a minimum of 8 letters and/or numbers. If the PIN is not 8 characters long, you will be redirected back to the reset PIN page.
