Honors Scholars

Each student who graduates as an Honors Scholar is required to complete 18-25 credit hours of Honors Program course work (HON), including a thesis project, and maintain an EKU GPA of 3.20. Honors Scholars wear a maroon mortarboard (cap) during commencement, which is provided directly to the student by the Honors Program at Honors Convocation prior to the university's commencement ceremonies.
